I'm watching the Olympics.
A Visa commercial just came on about the figure skating couple from 2006 that had a horrible fall...I didn't catch their names. No one thought they would be able to continue.....but they went on to win the silver medal.
I was gripped by this 30 second commercial. they.got.back.up.
I was telling someone today about how many times we have been close to giving up...but that someday when our child is here with us we will tell them that we got back up.
(No news today. Still anxiously waiting.)

my Dad used to tell me all of the time (mostly sports related) that you have to tell yourself "I will get up 1 more time. One more time. Every time you fall down, tell yourself that...just one more time. And eventually you will get up 1 more time than the other guy." You will win. Just keep on keepin on!
I know what it is like to want to quit. To wave the white flag. But I also know what it feels like to persevere and taste sweet victory. This fight is one of those that is absolutely worth fighting. One more time. Praying always,

I love it Emily!! You guys are always such an inspiration in our lives and so many others. We cannot wait to share in your joy and excitement when you bring a little one home. It will be such a sweet day. We are continuing to pray daily. We love you guys! :)
