There is a for sale sign in our yard...
We are moving!!! We are not sure where yet. Somewhere in Clarksville, that's the part we know. We have started the adoption process and in an effort to get through it debt free we are going to sell our house. We first began thinking about selling our HUGE house when we went on tour this spring and lived in a 45 ft. bus w/ 10 other people!!! We made it just fine and actually had plenty of room on the bus. We would come home and get lost in our house, not literally, but we'd look around and say- why do we need such a big house. It will be a great house for a family with a few kids, but with it just being us we are totally ready to downsize and especially to set aside more money for the adoption. We feel like we are doing what God had asked us to do and are anxiously waiting on Him to reveal the next step of the plan and knowing that He will in just the perfect time.

HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY
SOOOOO TODAY IS A BIG DAY!!!! IT'S DANIEL'S 30TH BIRTHDAY!!!!
Happy birthday!!!! I love you soooo much.
I hope you have a wonderful day! You are a great man and I'm so proud to be your wife. You are amazingly creative and courageously live "outside the box." You are tremendously talented and desire to give the glory to God. You challenge us to live all out for God and to honor Him with our lives. Thanks for loving me so much!
I'm so glad we met 10 years ago and are walking through this life together. I can't wait to see where this journey will take us. It's a joy to walk alongside you!

10 Year Reunion
Welllll we had our reunion yesterday. It all started with the first home football game of the season. 10 years ago our team made it to the state tournament, but lost in the Clinic Bowl game. 4 graduates came out to the game. It was fun to catch up a bit and see the new CA field, which is great! 10 years ago we played our games at Austin Peay State University because we didn't have a field, that was always cool though to get to play at a college stadium. anyway...
Saturday we went to the Blackhorse for the actual reunion. (We had 34 graduates in our class.) 12 graduates (and one classmate who didn't graduate with us) showed up. Pretty good percentage I guess...
There was a cool event going on in Downtown Clarksville and Franklin Street was closed down. It was nice for everyone to get to hang out there for awhile after we ate.
Here are some pics.

The girls that sat at our table: Becki, Anna, Amanda, and Emily

Brian and his wife Stacey. What a cute couple!

A candid of Emery and Meredith.

A candid of Duff and Justin. These are two guys that made it to the game Friday night so we got to catch up quite a bit.

The whole gang minus David who had to leave early.

Larry don't live here!
Sorry for the grammatical error, but I'm fed up and that's what it took.
We have been getting calls for the past few weeks from Oxford Management Services. WE DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH OXFORD MANAGEMENT SERVICES- AND NEVER WILL!!! Apparently LARRY does and he gave them our number. Smart move Larry! But now they are annoying me every other day. That's what I get for not having bad credit?!? Someone else's bad credit haunting me. I've asked them to put me on their do not call list, but they keep calling because they are incompetent and still think Larry lives here. I finally got a bit upset today and hopefully got to the bottom of it. THANKS LARRY!
I looked them up on Better Business Bureau and here's what I found:
This business has an unsatisfactory record with the BBB. Complaints to the BBB have alleged that Oxford Management Services engages in deceptive business tactics including high pressure collection calls for debts not owed by consumers. Consumers allege receiving repeated harassing phone calls from this firm regarding debts for which the company fails to provide any written history.
So don't do business w/ Oxford Management Services...and beware of those who do and pass along your phone number. :)

Hold On
Have you heard the song Hold On by the Daniel Doss Band? It's one of my favorites! They are starting a new campaign to hear people's "Hold On" stories. If you have heard the song and it ministered to you go to www.danieldossband.com and write a brief message.
The song is a message from God saying Hold On-
You may not see it, you may not feel it
But I’m holding you tightly
Your spirit is near me
Hold on, hold on
It will not be long till it’s all over
Hold on, hold on
Lay your weary head upon my shoulder
It has been a great comfort to me and a great reminder that no matter what life's circumstances bring God is holding us and there with us the whole time. What a great picture of our loving Heavenly Father! So help spread the word and go share your "Hold On" story! :)

Home Sweet Home (Kinda)
We are in Martin, TN- which is home for Daniel, but I also consider it a second home. I came to UT-Martin in '98 which was um 10 years ago. woah! But that was my first time to be away from home and the beginning of college. I completely enjoyed my college experience and that is where I met Daniel. (And one of my great BFF's Holly-love you girl!) His parents welcomed me in and we have loved getting to come home as often as we can. It always brings back fond memories to be able to be in Martin. There were many familiar faces that came to the concert-it was so good to re-connect. We were able to be a part of the annual Soybean Festival. This was such a great honor for the Daniel Doss Band to be able to play in Daniel's home town. We heard that he drew the second biggest Wednesday night crowd. Wednesday is know as "Faith and Community Night." How great to have Daniel there to represent a faith that grew as he grew up in this community. I got to hold a sweet baby of one of Daniel's good friends from high school and our friend from college. (Matt and Rosie- Cricket is the cutest thing, I'm still blown away with those big beautiful blue eyes!) It was so nice to be home and to get to spend some time with the Doss's. We even got to feed the newborn calves as soon as we got here.
*Also on another note Mrs. Carolyn- Daniel's mom is doing much better in her cancer recovery. She has not had Chemo treatments the past three months. She was able to come to the concert tonight as well as Daniel's entire family including Aunts and Uncles and his brother and sister. Thanks everyone for coming out! It was so fun to see everyone!!!!

Daniel's house growing up and where his parents still live.

One of the barns on the farm where we went to feed the calves tonight. :)

Best Friends know where stuff is in your kitchen
As I was making some kool-aid tonight I grabbed the wooden spoon out of the misc. drawer. Then I thought about how yesterday when Duke and Amanda came over she just began to help out with lunch without even being asked....and she knew where to find the wooden spoon. I knew where she kept her pitcher at her house and we would make strawberry lemonade at her house after long walks. She knows where I keep the cups and where the spoons are. Isn't it funny that you have friends that you make yourself at home at their house and then there are friends who you invite over and they know where stuff is in your kitchen. :)

I'm very sad that Duke and Amanda's kitchen is now 5 hours away, but I am very glad that we have friends who do not take lightly the call of God on their lives.
