NEWS!!!

We have some news.
1)Our house is for sale and we are moving across town. The house we've put an offer on has a basement and a bonus room for the band to practice and for fun! As soon as our house sells we'll be heading over to Exit 11.
2)Daniel is signing a record deal with Sparrow Records!!!! YIKES!!!! This is super exciting. We don't know all the details yet, but look out for the Daniel Doss Band. We will still be a part of Grace Community and Daniel will still be on staff there leading worship every Sunday!!!
We are just super excited about all the things going on right now. And blown away at God's goodness to us. We are so very grateful that our lives are in HIS hands.

MRS. CompetItive

Soooo at the PE Conference I went to this weekend we were taught new games or new concepts and then we (the PE teachers) got to play the games. This always helps us understand the games and see if we would be able to use it in our own school settings. Well....lets just say the competitiveness came out in me!!!! We were playing a soccer game with 4 goals instead of 2 and I was goalie!!! My Senior year in High School I played goalie and took it very seriously. So as soon as I was declared goalie I put my game face on and was playing all out. I was diving for the ball and going after loose balls. I was bound and determined not to let anyone score at our goal.
Needless to say our team won!!! But there was a small problem. When I woke up this morning my back and legs were soooo sore. I guess in High School I was conditioned and was in better shape. Man was I hurting today. I guess I'm not as young as I used to be....but let it be known that my team STILL WON!!!!

Back to UTM

This past weekend I went to a Physical Education conference at UT-Martin where I graduated.
I was so excited because I really enjoy reminiscing. I went to my classes, but during lunch break I roamed around campus and enjoyed the beautiful fall day. Fall days generally take my mind back to those fun fall days on campus. It was gorgeous with all the trees turning colors and leaves swirling in the wind. I was so taken back...way back....then I started feeling like it was a LONG time ago that I lived there in those moments. Then I realized it was a LONG TIME AGO!!! It has been almost 5 years since I graduated college and the time has flown by. I felt out of place there at the place that at that time felt like home. I'm so proud of where I am now and what God is showing me. I'm excited about the journey He's leading me on and all the new adventures, but the visit to Martin was so surreal. I wanted to walk by my old dorm and think through all those memories, but the dorm has been torn down and a new one is going to be built in its place. I definitely don't think they should have kept the old dorms and am happy for the new students to have a nicer place to stay, but man was I surprised.
So next time I go back to Martin I'll re-live a different set of memories and enjoy them all the same. :)
